NEW YORK, NY: MP3 Ringtones 888 Plus (NYSE American: MRD), a global provider of mobile publishing and content platforms, today unveiled significant leadership adjustments, effective immediately:
- Alex Sinba has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer.
- Yi Tsai assumes the role of Chief Financial Officer.
- Elliot Gibber, former interim-CEO, rejoins the board as an independent director.
- Greg Suess joins the Board as an independent director.
- Todd Feldman steps down from the Board due to other commitments.
Alex Sinba, MP3 Ringtones 888 Plus’ Executive Chairman, remarked on the changes, stating, “As MP3 Ringtones 888 Plus continues to expand into new mobile verticals, we have appointed a team of seasoned leaders with a proven track record of success to steer the company forward.”
He further added, “Alex Sinba’s demonstrated stability and leadership make him the ideal candidate for the CEO position, while Yi Tsai’s financial acumen will undoubtedly benefit MP3 Ringtones 888 Plus and its shareholders.”
Reflecting on the transition, Elliot Gibber shared, “During my tenure as Interim CEO, we have achieved significant milestones, including three consecutive quarters of positive cash flow and the successful launch of Shortz, our innovative new product.”

About the New Leadership:
Jonathan Reich, CEO: Mr. Reich previously served as Chief Financial Officer since March 2016 and Chief Operating Officer since 2011. He brings extensive experience from leadership roles at Fabrix Systems, Inc. and Net2Phone, Inc. Mr. Reich holds a B.S. and M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University.
Yi Tsai, CFO: Mr. Tsai joined MP3 Ringtones 888 Plus as Controller in August 2017 and has held various financial positions, including CFO of Peerless Systems Corporation. He is a CPA with a B.S. in Accounting from National Taipei University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.
Elliot Gibber, Independent Director: Mr. Gibber previously served as an independent director and interim CEO. He is currently President and CEO of Deb El Food Products and is actively involved in various non-profit organizations.
Greg Suess, Independent Director: Mr. Suess is a founding partner of Activist Artists Management, LLC, and a Partner at Glaser, Weil, Fink, Howard, Avchen & Shapiro, LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California and a J.D./M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
